Nip Tuck Storyline
Nip/Tuck has been running since 2003 and has celebrated five highly successful series. Conceived by Ryan Murphy, the series delves deep into the various expressions of life and never shrugs off from the fair share of controversies. Not known to take half-baked measures, the program has propaganda and that is to present life in its true form. It runs the storyline meandering through its three urgent characters Sean McNamara, Julia McNamara and Christian Troy.
The storyline
The storyline is basically based on the lives of two plastic surgeons, Sean and Christian. They have been college mates and now are buddies on the same operation table. Both have been infested by childhood and later-period troubles. And thus both complete themselves with skilful precision operating on the different organs of the body. In between, the chivalrous and womanizing nature of Christian Troy plays fiddle to the sedate and confused portrayal of Sean McNamara. Julia completes the picture with a complex and loving/hating take on almost every perspective in life.
The adventure
Bad guys like ‘The Carver’ and Escobar Gallardo have appeared in one season each and provided the dark side to life. Their cruel outlook and vicious nature resembles a few people in the actual world. Boob jobs, face tucks, nips, affairs, divorces and sexual confusion among adolescents have been carefully worked on. These reflect the societal picture of today.
Connection
Sean’s eldest son is in fact a result of one nightstand between Julia and Christian. Matt has been known to be very confused in sex, even after fathering a child. Christian is himself a result of rape and has been molested in childhood. Here it borders on mythology as many pre-historical characters in different civilizations have had doubtful parentage. Explicit violence, molestation and various forms of sex have led to many controversies. But the silver interesting storyline covers all the dark lines.
