Escobar Gallardo

To keep the flash visionary, a dark night is required. So is the necessity of a bad man to elicit the need of good ones. In the hugely popular Nip/Tuck show on Fox Television, Robert Lasardo and later Ricki Lopez (the character underwent plastic surgery) has played evil so well, you will hate them.

The face of evil
Though the face changes as the series evolves from first to forth, the spirit of evil is very apparent. It is notable that with appearance in only 9 episodes, the character of Escobar Lasardo leaves a mark. He starts in the initial episode of the 1st series as the boss of a molester Silvio, being operated upon by two leads and plastic surgeons Sean and Christian. Silvio confesses molesting Escobar’s 6 year-old daughter, and straightaway he ordains a cruel death for the employee. But Silvio’s own brother kills him. Sean and Troy throw the hammed body to be eaten by alligators.

Blackmail
Later, he returns to the scene as he plans to incorporate Sean/Troy to do breast implants on his molls and carry heroine in the twin assets. He blackmails them for the alligator incident and they get hooked.

Face change
Escobar Gallardo cuts a deal with the two surgeons to stop blackmailing them if he is given another face as the FBI seeks him. They play a grand trick on him by giving him a killer’s face. He is imprisoned but escapes by making a burnt and dead body impersonate him.

His ending fortune
He is also found to deal in organ sales. He exhorts his partner Michelle, the fiancé of Christian (the circle ends) to reconstruct the badly torn face of his wife Gala. In the spirit of the story that spells confusion at the outset, his wife Gala murders him and he is thrown by Sean/Christian in the same swamp festered by the alligators.
